Just a quick blog today to say that I'm finally on Twitter!! Bit of a technophobe so do bear with me on this one.
See everyone at Wirksworth again in the first week of April at the farmers market. So glad that it's finally started to warm up as the days get gradually longer.
Bye for now and love,

We had a wonderful Farmers Market at Wirksworth last Saturday (Feb 6th). The weather was awful, cold, grey and damp and STILL the lovely people of the town came to support us.
There was fundraising for the Haiti Earthquake Appeal with coffee and cake served in the Memorial Hall and a lovely choir singing outside. It really lifted everyones spirits. Thanks to you all.
I must remind you all about the forthcoming Shopping Evening at Blackbrook House, Belper on Thursday March 4th 2010 from 7pm until 10pm. This is a ticket only event (free for Derbyshire Cardholders) which costs £5 and is supporting The Rotary Club's Aquabox Scheme. Spaces are limited so hurry and get a ticket. It will be a fabulous evening with each guest receiving a glass of wine, a cupcake and a goody bag. Lots of beautiful gifts will be available to buy on the night just in time for Mother's Day !!! Hope to see you there.
Hi Everyone,
I know its a bit late but "Happy New Year" to all and wishing everyone a prosperous 2010.
Well, we are already into February and things are getting busy again. Tomorrow is our first Farmers Market for the year. We'll be at Wirksworth Farmers Market in the main high street from 9am til 1:30pm ish so hope to see some of our regulars there and hopefully some new faces.
This year we are also planning to launch a few new products ... so please watch this space!!
Lots of love,
Elaine
Hi there, first of all a massive big thank you to all who met me at the big Christmas events at Chatsworth, Kedleston and Denby Potteries. All three events were really well attended and we had a fun, successful and festive time at all three.
Secondly, we are aware that our website was unavailable over last weekend and Monday. Sincere apologies for this and we do hope that this has not inconvenienced too many folk. We had been very busy during the run up to all those Christmas shows and did not notice anything was wrong until the Saturday evening. In the end we were not entirely sure what the actual problem was but our UK hosting company thinks that the domain name server people in the US were responsible? All a bit techie for me but all seems to be back to normal now (thank goodness).
This year has simply flown by and I must thank everyone for all their hard work, support and general words of encouragement during the year. It's been manic at times but this has been our best year so far. Even in these difficult economic times all bodes well for next year - bring it on!
Here's looking forward to an even more successful 2010. Thanks again for everyones valued support throughout 2009. To all our customers, suppliers and everyone associated with Hearts And Homespun - have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Cheers, Elaine x.
I would just like to thank everyone who came to say 'hello' or those that bought my products at the Great Peak District Fair over the weekend in Buxton. The event was a great success and the atmosphere was tremendous.
We have recently updated the online Events Diary so you can follow our whereabouts over the next few weeks. This is a busy period for us during the run up to Christmas so if I look a little frazzled you'll know why!
Look forward to seeing you all again soon and once again "Thank You" for your continued support.
love,
E x.
Hello again,
Over the next few weeks we shall be adding some new product lines including some Christmas gift sets and a few new soap fragrances - so watch this space!
Apologies to anyone who was looking for me at Buxton on Thursday but I will definitely be there for the Great Peak District Fair in a couple of weeks time.
Hope you all have a super weekend and don't forget I'm at Wirksworth Farmers Market tomorrow (Saturday 3rd, October).
Elaine x.
Hi Everyone,
Apologies to all those who were expecting me at Beeston Craft Fayre in the market square today - big problems with my car not starting.
However, I promise I shall be there tomorrow (Sat 26th) as new car battery has now been installed!!
See you all there.
Proper update to follow soon ...
Elaine x.
No rest for the wicked - off to Buxton Farmers Market this morning. Fingers crossed the rain should stay away today. Thankfully I'm indoors :)
Hope to see you there!

Hi Everyone,
Well it's been another busy summer season and I'm just gearing up for our last venue of the month at the famous Denby Potteries Bicentenary August Bank Holiday event.
It should be a well attended venue with it being a Bank Holiday (as long as the weather holds out). All are welcome and I may just see you there!
Come and say "hello", mention this Blog and get a free bath bomb!!
Love to all,
Elaine - Hearts and Homespun
